1. Click to open the Media Browser.

2. Click to open the Devices page. If necessary, click to return to the list of devices.

3. Double-click Add/Remove Devices. Preferences opens to the Devices section.

4. Click Install New Devices to open the AutoUpdate dialog.

5. Select a device or plug-in from the list.

6. Click Install to complete installation.

A component of the RealOne Player that extends its ability. (For example: MIDI, or MP3)

In rare cases, a portable device plug-in can cause problems in RealOne Player. If you think the device is an issue you can disable it in the Devices section of your Preferences by following the steps below.

When a device is disabled, it will not be loaded and is essentially uninstalled.

1. Click to open the Media Browser.

2. Click to open the Devices page. If necessary, click to return to the list of devices.

3. Double-click Add/Remove Devices. Preferences opens to the Devices section.

4. Select the device or plug-in you want to Disable/Enable.

5. Click Enable to activate the device and add it to the list of devices in the Devices page.

6. Click Disable to de-activate the device and remove it from the list of devices in the Devices page.
