Refers to computer resources (such as drives or files) that are part of a computer, or available on a local area network (LAN).

1. Click to open the Media Browser.

2. Click to open the Devices page.

3. Double-click the name of the device you want to transfer files to. If you are transferring to a portable MP3 player with external and internal memory, their status is displayed.

4. Select the destination (when available, such as drive, folder, internal or external memory, etc.) for the files.

5. Click Add Clips in the Command bar. The Add Clips dialog appears.
   
   Note: You can also quickly add clips directly from My Library by selecting clips to transfer and clicking Copy To on the My Library Command bar.

6. Select the clips to be transferred to your portable device. Click Add Clip to queue up the files to be transferred and close the Add Clips dialog.

7. Click Transfer in the Command bar to copy the selected clips to your portable device.
   
   Clips labeled "Will Not Fit" will not be transferred. This status Indicates that the total size of the files being transferred to the portable device exceeds the available memory on the device.

Note: Only audio files supported by a Portable Music Players can be transferred. An error message will be displayed if you try to add an unsupported media file to a Portable Music Player.
