AutoUpdate helps keep RealOne Player up to date as well as provides other informational and personalized services. These preferences determine how AutoUpdate interacts with your computer when searching for or providing new or updated components to RealOne Player.

Automatic Updates |
(Default is enabled) When enabled, AutoUpdate (download and installation) are performed automatically, without the need for user input. When disabled, AutoUpdate will prompt you for confirmation before downloading and installing updates. In both cases, RealOne Player continually contacts RealNetworks to determine if critical software updates are required. This communication can be limited to when RealOne Player is in use by enabling the "Only perform automatic services while RealOne Player is in use" option, located in Tools>Preferences>Connection>Internet Settings. |
