View Menu

Commands from the View menu allow you to control the appearance and view the performance of RealPlayer. Not all options are available at all times. Options are only available if they can affect the currently loaded clip.

When Views are activated, a check mark appears next to the option. To de-activate an option, select it again and the check mark will disappear.


Menu Option
Description

Normal
Displays all RealPlayer buttons and controls.

Compact
Displays only the image area, a subset of the buttons, and a reduced Status bar and menu selection.

Auto-Size
Enables or disables Auto-hide when RealPlayer is in Compact mode. Auto-hide hides all controls unless your mouse is over the Player.

Original Size
Double Size

The Zoom menu switches between original and double mode.

Note: Not all options and controls will be available at all times. Options will only be available if the presentation you are viewing supports them.

Zoom options are also available via the Zoom control .

Location bar
Displays/Hides the Location bar which functions similarly to your browser's location bar. You can type in full URLs as well as go Forward and Back by clicking the appropriate buttons.

Clip Info
Shows/hides the Clip Info bar offering Title, Author, and Copyright about the currently playing clip or portion of a multi-clip.

Playlist
Shows/hides the Playlist bar.

Content Panel
Displays/Hides the Content Panel.

Search
Displays/Hides the Search bar.

Status Bar
Displays/Hides the Status bar.

Equalizer
Opens the Equalizer panel.

RealPlayer add-ins
Any third-party add-ins that you install will appear here on your menu (e.g., RealJukebox™)

Audio Analyzer
Displays/Hides the frequency analyzer. This has four modes: Waveform, Spectrum, Graph or Spectrogram. By selecting None you can turn off and hide the Audio Analyzer. Each mode displays realtime analysis of your audio feed.

Statistics
Opens the Statistics panel. The Statistics window reports the performance of the Internet connection between the Server and RealPlayer.

Preferences
Opens your Preferences dialog.
