CD page

To open the CD page click on on the Task bar.

Use the CD page to view, play, select, and save audio tracks from audio CDs played on your computer. While playing a CD, the Artist, Album, and Genre are displayed at the top of the CD page. CD track information such as the length of each track, the save status (% completed / saved) of the track, and its name (if available) are displayed in the center of the page.

CD Information

Information about the CD is obtained automatically over the Internet (see CD Info for details) and/or from your own database. You can also manually change this information or add to it if it is incomplete. (Changes are stored in your RealOne Player database and displayed each time the CD is played in the future.)

PROCEDURE

Edit Artist, Album, or Genre information.

Select and edit the text in the Artist, Album, or Genre windows.  

Edit Track Name

1. Select a track.

2. From the Command bar, select CD Info>Edit Track Name.

3. Edit the track name and press Enter.

Burn CD

Click at the top of the CD page to open the CD burner in the Devices page. (See Creating Custom CDs for details.)

CD Drive Indicator

When more than one CD drive is available on a computer, click on the CD drive indicator to select and change the active drive.

Note: You can only change the active CD drive when the player is stopped.

Command Bar

Commands specific to the current page are displayed at the bottom of the page. The following commands are available from the Command bar:

Save Tracks

Opens the Select Tracks dialog so you can pick which clips you want to add to My Library.

Burn CD

Switches RealOne Player to the Devices page and opens the CD Burning screen.

Preferences

Opens the CD Preferences.

CD Info

Get CD Info

Requests CD Info (if it hasn't automatically) such as Artist, Track names, and Album, from an online database.

Submit CD Info

Sends CD Info about the currently queued CD to an online database. (Must include Artist, Album and Genre information.)

Edit Track Name

Edit or enter the Track Name for the selected track.

Eject

Opens the door of the active drive (see CD Drive Indicator above to determine which drive is active).

CD Track Information

The following information about the CD is displayed in the lower right corner of the CD page:

STATUS

DESCRIPTION

Number of selected tracks (if any). / Number of audio tracks on the CD.

Length of selected track(s), or total play time of all tracks on the CD when no track is selected.

File space needed to save selected/all tracks to My Library at the default Quality Level.
