Now Playing Functions

Creating a Now Playing List

You create a Now Playing list by adding or deleting clips (individually or in groups) with any of the following methods:

  1. Drag and Drop clips, tracks, or compatible media files into the list from your Media Library, the CD page, or a hard drive or network directory (folder) of media files accessible to your computer.

  2. Click and select Add File... to open the Add File dialog. Select and add media files to the Now Playing List. (You can double-click a file to add it, or select one or more files and click Open to add the files.)

  3. Click and select Add Directory... to open the Add Directory dialog. Select a directory (folder) and click OK to add all the compatible media files in that directory and any sub-directories to the Now Playing list.

  4. Click and select Add URL... to open the Add URL dialog. Enter a URL of a compatible clip on the Internet to add it to the Now Playing list.

Note:

If you play a clip while creating a Now Playing list, the list of clips will be replaced by the clip that is played; or the list will be reduced to the limit selected in Preferences and the new clip will be appended to the remaining list of clips. (See Tools>Preferences>General>Now Playing for details.)
