Save CD Tracks to My Library

You can easily build your media collection by saving your CDs to My Library. Once CD tracks are saved with the RealOne Player, you can create Playlists, burn CDs, View and Edit Clip Info, and more.

RealOne Player will automatically record CD tracks to My Library each time you play a CD that has not yet been saved. (You can change these setting under Preferences>CD in the Tools menu.)

Step-by-Step:

Save CD tracks to My Library using Auto-Save

  1. Insert CD. If you have not already saved this CD, RealOne Player will ask if you would like save it now.

  2. Click Yes.

  3. RealOne Player opens to the CD page and begins saving your tracks. The Status column shows the recording status of each track.

  4. Once all tracks are saved, RealOne Player will automatically eject the CD. (You can change this setting in CD Preferences.)

Save CD tracks to My Library manually

  1. Insert CD.

  2. Click on the Task bar to open the CD window.

  3. Click Save CD to My Library on the Command bar to open the Choose Tracks dialog.

  4. Select the track or tracks you wish to save to My Library.

  5. Click OK. RealOne Player begins saving your tracks.

  6. Once all tracks are saved, RealOne Player will automatically eject the CD. (You can change this setting in CD Preferences.)

Automatic CD Info Caching

If you have previously recorded one or more tracks from a CD, the RealOne Player will remember this information. If you later start to save tracks to My Library from the same CD, RealOne Player will indicate which tracks have already been save.

Note:

Once you have saved tracks to My Library, they are called clips.
