Deleting Clips and Playlists

Because Media clips are only shortcuts, you can freely delete clips and playlists from your RealOne Player media library without worrying about destroying the media files that the clips are linked to. (See Media Clips for details about media clips.)

Step-by-Step:

Delete clips from My Library

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open the My Library page.

  3. Find and select the clip(s) you wish to delete.

  4. Select Delete from the right-click menu or press [Delete] on your keyboard. The Delete Clips dialog appears.

  5. Click Delete to confirm deletion.

Note:

If you select the Also delete files(s) option, the RealOne Player will permanently remove the associated media file from your computer.

Delete clips from Playlist

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open the My Library page.

  3. Select the Playlists folder to display the available Playlists.

  4. Open the Playlist list from which you wish to delete clips.

  5. Select the clips you wish to delete.

  6. Select Delete from the right-click menu, or press [Delete] on your keyboard, to delete the clips from the Playlist.

Note:

When you delete a media clip from a playlist it does not delete the clip from My Library, nor does it delete the associated media file from your computer.

Delete Playlists or AutoPlaylist

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open the My Library page.

  3. Select Playlist or AutoPlaylist from the Show Me drop down list.

  4. Select the Playlist or AutoPlaylist you wish to delete.

  5. Select Delete from the right-click menu or press [Delete] on your keyboard.

  6. Confirm Delete - click Yes.
