Playing Individual Clips from My Library

When you save a media file to My Library, you create a media clip. Use the following procedures to play individual clips from My Library.

Note:

When you select a clip to play, this will change the Now Playing list. If the 'Clear the Contents of the Now Playing list' option is selected from the General Preferences, a warning message will appear each time you select and play a clip.

Step-by-Step:

Play Clip from All Media

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open My Library.

  3. From the Show me drop-down menu, select All Media.

  4. From the All Media page, select a clip(s).

  5. Select Play Selected Clip(s) from the right-click menu.

Playing Clip from Audio List

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open My Library.

  3. From the Show me drop-down menu, select the Audio media group.

  4. Double-click to open All Audio, Artist, Album, Genre, or Artist/Album

  5. Double-click to open any additional sub-groupings. Select a clip(s).

  6. Select Play Selected Clip(s) from the right-click menu.

Playing Clip from Video List

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open My Library.

  3. From the Show me drop-down menu, select the Video media group.

  4. Double-click to open All Video or Genre

  5. Double-click to open any additional sub-groupings. Select a clip(s).

  6. Select Play Selected Clip(s) from the right-click menu.

Playing Clip from Playlists or AutoPlaylist

  1. Click to open the Media Browser.

  2. Click to open My Library.

  3. From the Show me drop-down menu, select Playlists or AutoPlaylist.

  4. Double-click to open a Playlist. Select a clip(s).

  5. Select Play Selected Clip(s) from the right-click menu.

Note:

From an AutoPlaylist you can select Remix Now in the Command bar to display a new set of clips.
