Convert Media Format

Convert Media, a RealOne Premium feature, allows you to change the format and quality level of the media files associated with your media clips. You can convert audio file from any supported format (except secure formats) to MP3, RealAudio, and Wave formats.

Note: Video files can only be converted into audio format files. The video content will not be copied.

Use Convert Media to:

• Reduce the amount of disk space that your audio files use.

• Change the quality level of your audio and video clips.

• Prepare audio files for transfer to a portable device.

• Save the audio portion of a video file.

Step-by-Step: Convert Media

Note: The Convert Media option is not available while clips are playing or paused. The VBR (Variable Bit-Rate) option is only available with MP3 files. 

Caution: Convert Media is an advanced feature and should be used with care. Some Convert Media actions will result in the loss of data (quality) and/or the deletion of files.
