Why does RealOne Player keep trying to connect to the wrong Internet Service Provider?

If you have recently changed your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or have more than one that you use from your computer, RealOne Player may not recognize the correct ISP to connect through.

The Symptoms

When you click a link, RealOne Player attempts to dial the incorrect ISP or, if you recently installed a cable or DSL modem, it still attempts to use a Dial-up Connection.

The Solution

In order to make RealOne Player recognize a new, or the correct, ISP, you will need to change your default Internet connection.

1. Click the Start button; choose Settings and then Control Panel.

2. Double-click Internet Options icon. The Internet Properties dialog box appears.

3. Click the Connection tab.

4. Change the Dial-up Connection settings (or LAN settings if you have DSL) to your current ISP.

5. Click Apply.
