This is the default search page; accessed from both the RealOne Home page and the Search page. You can also return to the Simplified Search page from the Advanced Search page by selecting Fewer Options beneath Search For.

1. Enter individual keyword(s) in Search For. Search will look for an exact  match to what you type in as if it was a phrase and then continue looking for each of the keywords individually (with closer matches considered being those that have more of the words you've entered closer together in the file descriptions).

2. Select a search location (In). The default search location (All) is used when starting a search from the RealOne Home page. The available search locations are:

   All	Keyword search in all sources.
   RealOne Music	Keywords matching track title, album title or artist name.
   Radio	Keywords matching radio station description.

3. Click Go. The results will be grouped and displayed by source and category. Select a category to display a list of clips. Select a clip to play it.

 

 

The Advanced Search checks the same sources as the Simplified Search, but allows you to enter more specific instructions to narrow your search. The search options that are displayed will depend on which search location (All, Radio, or RealOne Music) you have selected (see the tables below).

You can access the Advanced Search from the Simplified Search page or the RealOne Home page by selecting More Options beneath Search For.

1. Enter the search location (In). This selection will determine the other search options. The available search locations are:

   All	Keyword search in all sources.
   RealOne Music	Keywords match track title, album title or artist name.
   Radio	Keywords match radio station description.

2. Enter the remaining search criteria.  (Based on the above selection):

   All
   Keyword	Searches for matches to any whole keyword. Exact phrases, such as "streaming media player," are not allowed.
   Media Type	All Matches any media Audio Matches only media with audio content and no video content. Video  Matches only media that includes video content.
   Bitrate	Restricts matches to media with bit-rates less than or equal to you what you requested the search results to include.
   RealOne Music
   Keyword	Enter individual keyword(s) in Search For. Search will look for an exact  match to what you type in as if it was a phrase and then continue looking for each of the keywords individually (with closer matches considered being those that have more of the words you've entered closer together in the file descriptions).
   Artist	Searches for Artist matches.
   Album	Searches for Album matches.
   Track	Searches for Track title matches.
   Radio
   Keyword	Searches station descriptions for matches to any whole keyword. Exact phrases, such as "streaming media player," are not allowed.
   Genre	Searches for Genre matches. (Select from drop-down menu.)
   Country/Region	Searches for Country/Region matches. (Select locations from drop-down menu.)
   City	Searches for City matches. (Select locations from drop-down menu.)
   State	Searches for State matches.

3. Click Go. The results will be grouped and displayed by source and category. Select a category to display a list of clips. Select a clip to play it.
