This feature searches local drives for supported media files and playlists; then creates clips for new or uncataloged files and imports the clips into My Library. Customize the search by making the following selections from the Scan Disk For Media dialog box:

Look for media in: |
Select the drive you want to scan for media from the list of drives ( mapped and local) on your computer. |

Folder: |
If you have selected an individual drive, you can browse for and select an individual folder. The search will be conducted in that selected folder and all of its sub-folders. |

File types to search for: |
Select the media file type to search for, or search for all supported media types. Note: All Media Files includes more files types than can be individually selected. |
