Status Display

The Status Display is your connection and playback information center. Find out at a glance about the clip status, format, and your connection to the Internet.

DESCRIPTION

Click to open or close the Now Playing list. The Now Playing list is displayed on the left side of the Media Browser. Other content in the Media Browser will be resized to accommodate the Now Playing list. You can also resize the Now Playing list horizontally, but it will maintain a minimum width.

You will see the word Connecting while the RealOne Player finds and connects to the content site.

During loading, you will see a loading icon indicating that action is taking place, but not yet finished; the word Loading... and the percentage complete will also be displayed.

Indicates RealOne Player is getting additional information.

Status of the clip; Play or Pause . (No icon is displayed for Stop.)

Clip is paused as you move the Position Slider to seek a new starting point in the clip. (Indicated by the percentage from the beginning.)

Title and Artist of the clip is displayed, if available; if not, then the file name will be displayed.

The Format Indicator shows what data format the clip is. As new formats are added, additional indicators will be displayed.

Stream bandwidth in Kbps (kilobits/sec).

Normal
Minimal
Severe

Net Health is indicated by the color of the Play Icon. Green represents a good connection, Orange represents minimal information loss, Red tells you that there is severe information loss and that rebuffering is necessary. Rebuffering will cause a short pause in playback.



Live clip (for example: a radio station); Time Played/Live.

Recorded clip (for example an *.rm file); Time Played/ Total Clip Length.

Note: Click on the Time Played to change the display format to 10ths of a second. Click again to revert to seconds.
