Preferences: Devices

RealOne Player supports a number of Portable Music Players and Storage Devices. The Devices section of Preferences is where you install, and configure portable devices for use with the RealOne Player.

DESCRIPTION

Add a New Device

Initiates an AutoUpdate request to install the plug-ins needed to use Portable Music Players, Storage Devices, and other portable devices with the RealOne Player. (See Install a Portable Device for more specific instructions.)

Information and Troubleshooting

Click More Info... to see information available on RealOne Central: Devices. (Opens a new Media Browser window.)

Advanced Options

List of installed devices. Select a device to Enable/Disable or Configure it. If the device you want to use is not listed, you will need to install it. (See Add a New Device above.)

Note: The CD burner can not be disabled/enabled and is therefor not listed.

Configure Device...	Select to adjust the configuration of the portable device selected in the Installed Devices list. (Device must be enabled.) For additional instructions, see Configuring Your Portable Device.
Disable Device Enable Device	Click to disable/enable the device selected in the Installed Devices list. This will disable the associated support drivers and keep RealOne Player from loading them but will not remove the drivers from your computer. Disabled devices will not be listed in the Devices page.
