RealOne Player Controls

The controls below can be found in the viewer section of the RealOne Player. The actions described for each control assume that you already have a clip loaded.

DESCRIPTION

List Menus

Lists and accesses any menus hidden by resizing.

Messages

Opens RealOne Message Center.

Now Playing

Click  to open or close the Now Playing panel. (Opens Browser if closed.)

Window Controls

Standard Windows controls to Minimize, Restore and Close the window.

Media
Browser

Click to open or close the Media Browser Media Browser. Click to open the Media Browser Quick Access menu.

Play
 

Plays a clip from the beginning or from where you paused it. (Becomes Pause button when active.)

When is red, the player is recording media.
When is green, the player is not recording media. (LivePause will still function.)

Pause

Pauses playback of the clip. (Becomes Play button when paused.) Press Play button to resume where clip left off.

Note: Long pauses may cause loss of connection to an online clip. When you resume playback, there may be a delay while the RealOne Player reconnects to the clip.

Record Audio: Click inside the Play/Pause button to stop recording the current audio stream.
Stop Recording:
Click inside the Pause button to stop recording the current audio stream.

Stop

Stops playback and resets clip to the beginning.

Forward

Click once to advance to the next clip in the Now Playing list.

Click and hold to Fast Forward the current clip.

Back

Click once to return to the previous clip in the Now Playing list.

Click and hold to Fast Rewind the current clip.

Position Slider

Click and drag the Tracking button , or click on the Position Slider, to move closer to the end or the beginning of the clip.

Off
On

Mute

Temporarily sets the volume of the RealOne Player to zero (Mute On). The current clip continues to play unless you stop or pause it. Click again to return volume to its previous level (Mute Off).

Volume
Slider

Drag the volume button to adjust volume. Volume level is indicated by the shaded bar.

Hide/Show
Presentation

Click to hide (or show) Presentation Area. ( Toolbar mode only)

Open Menu

Opens DVD Command menu. (Available when playing a DVD.)
