Menu-Favorites

Short term for Internet browser (for example: Netscape Navigator, Opera, or Internet Explorer). A program used to view information on the World Wide Web. (See also Media browser.)

Clips that are associated with media files that reside on a local drive.

Uniform Resource Locator. This is the complete address that tells a browser or the RealOne Player where to get the information to show or play, and how to interpret that information. (For example: www.real.com/thankyou.rm)

Select Favorites>Add Clip to Favorites, to open the Add Clips dialog and save the current clip as a Favorite.
Edit the Name of the Favorite if desired.
From the drop-down menu, select the folder in which to save the Favorite. If you wish to save the Favorite to new folder or sub-folder, select Browse to open the Create In Folder dialog. Click New Folder... to create a new folder (or select an existing folder first to create a sub-folder).
Click OK as necessary to close the dialogs.

Select Favorites>Add Web Pages to Favorites, to open the Add Page dialog and save the current URL (Web Page) as a Favorite.
Edit the Name of the Favorite if desired.
From the drop-down menu, select the folder in which to save the Favorite. If you wish to save the Favorite to new folder or sub-folder, select Browse to open the Create In Folder dialog. Click New Folder... to create a new folder (or select an existing folder first to create a sub-folder).
Click OK as necessary to close the dialogs.

Select Favorites>Manage Favorites. This will display a folder on your local drive where the Favorites are stored.
Organize the shortcuts as you would any other file; you can drag and drop, cut, copy, delete, paste, or rename them as you see fit.

Refers to computer resources (such as drives or files) that are part of a computer, or available on a local area network (LAN).

Select Favorites from the Menu bar to open the Favorites menu.
Select a Favorite from the list. Click/roll-over sub-folders () to open them and display additional Favorites to select.

Favorites Menu

Favorites are shortcuts to media clips similar to bookmarks in a browser. Whether the clip resides out on the Web or on your computer, Favorites save the location information for quick access. You can organize Favorites in folders and sub-folders, just as files are stored on your computer.

MENU OPTION	DESCRIPTION
Add Clip to Favorites...	Opens Add Clip dialog. Edit name and/or select folder from drop-down list. Click OK to add clip. Start at Time: (Available only for non-streaming clips.) Enter hours, minutes, and seconds to advance the clip before beginning playback.
Add Web Page to Favorites...	Opens Add Page dialog. Edit name and/or select folder from drop-down list. Click OK to add URL of current web page to Favorites list.
Manage Favorites	Opens your folder of saved Favorites.
List of Favorites	Favorites you created in RealOne Player; saved in the Favorites folder. Sub-Folder of Favorites you created in RealOne Player.
