Preferences: My Library

Use these preferences to change the look of the clip listings in My Library, and to set up watch folders.

Configure Information Fields

Select the Information Fields, or columns,  you want displayed next to the clips in My Library. Change the order in which they are displayed by moving them up or down.

Move: Move the selected field up in the list (left in the header row). Only one field may be moved at a time. If you select multiple fields, only the highest in the list will be moved.

Configure Custom Fields

Custom Fields allow you to display non-standard information in My Library. Name and set the type of data that you want to display in the three custom fields available.

Custom Display Name: Enter a name for the field that will appear in the Information Fields list and as the column header in My Library.

Show Data From: Select a data source from the drop-down list.

Note: Editing a Custom Information Field does not change its display status. Change the display status in the Information Fields box, above. To edit the actual information see Edit Clip Info.

Add Media Automatically to Library

Automatically scan for and add music you've downloaded or copied it to your computer with a stand-alone browser or other programs by setting up watch folders.

Enable this feature

(Default is Off) Check or uncheck to have RealOne Player automatically scan folders in your watch list.

Include Other Product's Folders

(Default is ON) RealOne Player will automatically add folders for other media players on your computer to your watch list. This will not change which player is your default player for a media type, but it will add any music or video you download to My Library without you having to initiate a scan or individually add the files at a later time.

Scan every XX minutes

(Default is 60) Sets the time between scans.

Add

Opens a browse dialog to select and add a folders to your watch list. Click OK to add the folder and close the dialog. You can have RealOne Player watch more than one folder.

Remove

Removes the selected folder from the watch list.
