To speed playback of frequently used content, you can allow RealPlayer to cache it, much like a Web browser does. Not all content is able to be cached, it must be properly created to do so. To change the default selections, click Settings... .
  Enable cache
Enable or disable caching by checking this box.
  Clip cache size
(Default is 4MB)Reset the size of your cache larger or smaller (minimum size is 4MB). To resize the cache, RealPlayer must restart. To clear out old material, click Empty clip cache... Emptying the cache does not shrink the file size, it only clears out the cached material. If you need to regain disk space, shrink the size of your cache or disable it.
  Cache location
RealPlayer’s cache is always the RealPlayer installation directory.
Optimize Video Display
Enable or disable Use optimized video. RealPlayer takes advantage of optized video display technologys. If your video is acting erratically, it may help to disable the optimized video.
