Supply connection-quality data to RealServers Supply GUID when playing streaming content | RealServer data help content providers refine their methods and improve their quality and serve secure (private or paid-for) content. If you do not wish to share your information with content providers, do not check these boxes.
By allowing connection-quality data to be sent to content providers (those people who put all that great video, audio and the like on the Net) you help them make better decisions about what to create and how to create it by letting them see their customers’ connectoin information. This preference is optional for all content. Your RealPlayer GUID is your Player’s unique ID. To access secured content you need to turn this setting on so that the RealServer supplying the content can identify you as someone who should have access. After viewing secured content you can choose to turn your GUID setting off again by unchecking this box. This preference is optional for non-secured content. |
