The Transport preferences allows you to adjust and select the different modes of network transport that you can employ. You can use different settings for PNA and RTSP. (Consult your network administrator for the appropriate settings.) In most cases, the default settings will work.
Warning: The use of these preferences assumes a basic knowledge of Internet protocols and firewalls. Changing these settings improperly can drastically affect how your Player functions. For more information about firewalls, refer to our Web site at: http:/service.real.com/firewall.

Network Transports |
To access specific transport settings, select Use manually configure RTSP and PNA transport setting and then click Configure Transports. Select and set the desired transport setting. Transport Settings: Use these settings if your computer has problems using some network transports. (Consult your network administrator for the appropriate setting.) Use Defaults: click to reset back to the default Transport Settings. |

UDP Ports |
Select this option if you want RealOne Player to attempt to use UDP for static content and live content not available via Multicast . Enter port numbers in the box provided. Note: This setting has no effect on TCP packets, which can only be received through Port 7070. |
