Status Display

The Status Display is your connection information center. Find out at a glance about the clip status, format, and your connection to the Internet.

ICON(s)

DESCRIPTION

Title and Artist of the clip is displayed at the top of the Player, if available; if not, the file name will be displayed.

You will see the word Connecting while RealOne Player finds and connects to the content site.

During loading, you will see a loading icon indicating that action is taking place, but not yet finished; the word Loading... and the percentage complete will also be displayed.

Indicates RealOne Player is getting additional information.

Minimal
Severe

Net Health is indicated by the color of the Play Icon. Green represents a good connection, Orange represents minimal information loss, Red tells you that there is severe information loss and that rebuffering is necessary. Rebuffering causes a short pause in playback.

Status of the clip; Play or Pause . (No icon is displayed for Stop.)

Clip is paused as you move the Position Slider to seek a new starting point in the clip. (Indicated by the percentage from the beginning.)

The Format Indicator shows what data format the clip is.

Stream bandwidth in Kbps (kilobits/sec).



Live clip (for example: a radio station); Time Played/Live.

Recorded clip (for example a *.rm file); Time Played/ Total Clip Length.

Note: To add 10ths of a second to the counter, click the time indicator.
