You can tailor the sound to your personal tastes, adjusting for environment, room size, and the genre of music you're listening to. gsg_equalizer_1.gif 1. Select "Equalizer" on the Tools menu. The equalizer will open up. gsg_equalizer_2.gif 2. Turn your equalizer on by clicking the "On/Off" button. The button will turn green when it is on. gsg_equalizer_3.gif 3. Select a preset "Setting" using the drop down menu, or... gsg_equalizer_4.gif 4. …use the sliders to create your own custom setting. gsg_equalizer_5.gif 5. To give your audio more depth, adjust the "Room Size" to the right. gsg_equalizer_6.gif 6. To give your audio more echo, adjust the "Reverb" to the right. gsg_equalizer_7.gif 7. Set the "Input" to "Automatic" for volume normalization during playback.

* Tip: Volume normalization takes the differences in each track being played into account and makes adjustments so the volume level is more consistent. gsg_equalizer_8.gif 8. Close the "Equalizer" by clicking on the gray "X." Your settings are retained until you change them again.
